It's been a long winter for all parts of France this year with temperatures well below the normal. Spring is on it's way however and the Chateau has opened it's doors to welcome guests from different parts of the globe including a very happy couple with their friends and family who celebrated their wedding with us. Under blue skies and radiant sunshine, they invited their guests to participate in their intimate ceremony on the lawn of the Chateau and to join them in celebrating their union with a champagne reception on the main terrace and later for a sumptuous, candle-lit banquet in the Salles de Gardes.
More happy memories to add to the very long history of the Chateau de Goult.
We've also welcomed a group of golfers coming to explore the many wonderful golf courses in the area. Provence Country Club is just 20 minutes away and others such as Pont Royal, Golf de Servanes, Garden Golf Avignon or Golf Grand Avignon are all within easy reach.
Whether it's simply to relax with friends & family, celebrate an intimate wedding or special birthday, play golf or explore the many nearby vineyards, we look forward to welcoming you to Chateau de Goult for some unforgettable moments in the heart of the Luberon, Provence.
As the season draws to a close, I always like to look back at the groups and individuals we have welcomed to the Chateau during the year. What a pleasure it was to see people coming from all parts of the globe to enjoy some time in Goult; the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, USA, Australia, Russia, Canada, UAE, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland to name just some. We've celebrated weddings, 40th, 50th and 80th birthday parties as well as several family reunions and holidays. The Chateau has been host to cooking lessons, wine-tasting, business brainstorming sessions, music recitals, cocktail evenings and this halloween it was invaded by all sorts of scary creatures!
We look forward to an exciting season in 2013 with many more guests from around the world. We'd love to either welcome you back or greet you as a first-time visitor.
